BURGER BOAT CO. DOES REFURBISHING AT THE WISCONSIN MARITIME MUSEUM

The team at Burger Boat Co. is really looking forward to the next project that they have got on their hands. This would involve them doing some refurbishing work on the USS Cobia. It is a legendary World War II submarine that is docked on the Manitowoc River at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. The renovations on the submarine will thus begin on the 10th of January and will take as many as three months to complete. This was told in a statement by Norma Bishop who is the museum's CEO.

Jim Ruffolo, Burger's president, is another happy man. He for once goes back some time as far as his association with the museum is concerned. He was in the museum’s board of trustees earlier and a former president of the museum at that. Burger Boat Co. has absolute expertise when it comes to boat hulls cleaning among others. Earlier the museum was looking at doing periodic repair, boat hull cleaning and painting in terms refurbishment work as was done back in the year of 1996.

But then now, the skilled artisan boat builders at Burger will ensure that the job is well done and at a much cut and reduced price. A lot of work more is to be done as well that is below the waterline. Apart from boat hull cleaning it also includes updating the submarine’s protective coating. The Burger team is in the mean while looking forward greatly towards working with the Wisconsin Maritime Museum and refurbishing this historic submarine.
